Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hang (born in 1995) was selling seafood at the market when suddenly a group of young men on motorbikes rushed in and threw buckets of red paint on the seafood on display.
On the evening of July 18, Nha Trang City Police (Khanh Hoa) said that this agency is temporarily detaining for investigation and handling according to the law 4 subjects in a group of subjects "terrorizing" the spirit of relatives of debtors with the aim of collecting "black credit" loans.
Previously, on the morning of July 9, while Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hang (born in 1995), residing in Vinh Luong commune, Nha Trang city, was selling seafood at Vinh Tho market in Vinh Tho ward, Nha Trang city, suddenly a group of young men on motorbikes rushed in and threw buckets of red paint on the seafood on display, causing damage of about 4.5 million VND.

After more than a week of verification, evidence collection and investigation measures, the working group coordinated by Vinh Tho Ward Police and Nha Trang City Police clarified the whereabouts of the four above-mentioned subjects: Nguyen Van Nam (born 1995), Nguyen Van Truong (born 1999), Vo Minh Tai (born 1998) and Pham Tan Huy (born 1996), all residing in Vo Tanh village, Vinh Luong commune.

Initially, these three subjects confessed that previously, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hang's sister-in-law, Ngo Thi My Le, had borrowed 10 million VND from Nguyen Van Nam. However, Nam only gave Ms. Le 8 million VND with the requirement that she pay in installments within 20 days, 500,000 VND per day.
Because Ms. Le did not have money to pay the debt as promised, Nam persuaded two accomplices to bring paint to the place where Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hang sold seafood to "terrorize" her mentally, in order to put pressure on her relatives to pay the debt.
