Launching the contest to learn about 'History of Nghe An province 990 years of formation and development'
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing Plan No. 19/KH-UBND dated January 15, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 990th anniversary of Nghe An's name (1030 - 2020), on the afternoon of July 22, at Vinh University, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the Launching Ceremony of the Contest to learn about "History of Nghe An province 990 years of formation and development".

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Van Toan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest emphasized: The 990th anniversary of Nghe An's name is an opportunity for the youth of the whole province to better understand the role, position and great contributions of the land and people of Nghe An in the historical process of building, defending and developing the country.
This is also an opportunity to promote and publicize the cultural values and beautiful images of Nghe An land and people to the whole country and international friends. At the same time, it shows the sentiments and morality of the young generation towards the previous generations.
Encouraging the movement of studying, learning and researching the history of the province will create spiritual motivation for generations of union members and young people to promote traditional values, contributing to building Nghe An homeland to become increasingly prosperous.

Each week there will be 11 prizes including: 1 First prize (Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman and a prize of 2,000,000 VND); 2 Second prizes (Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and a prize of 1,000,000 VND); 3 Third prizes (Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and a prize of 700,000 VND); 5 Encouragement prizes (Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and a prize of 500,000 VND
Collective solution:
The unit with the highest total number of entries within 6 weeks will receive 1 collective First Prize with the following prizes: Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, bonus of 8,000,000 VND; 1 collective Second Prize: Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, bonus of 6,000,000 VND; 1 collective Third Prize: Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, bonus of 4,000,000 VND.

For the contest to be successful, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee requested that all levels of the Youth Union focus on promoting extensive propaganda among cadres, union members, youth and people of the province.
In addition to participating in the contest, the Youth Union at all levels needs to organize and carry out practical emulation movements towards the 990th anniversary of Nghe An's title and welcome the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; actively report and propagate activities to celebrate the 990th anniversary of Nghe An's title.
At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also hoped that departments, branches, agencies, units, and schools in the province would actively participate in the Contest, creating a widespread effect on Nghe An people living and working in and outside the province.

How to take the exam online on Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal:
Step 1:Access addresshttp://tracnghiem990nam.nghean.gov.vn/
Step 2:Register for a contest account, fill in the required information (Each contest account can be used multiple times).
Step 3:Take the test
After successfully registering, candidates click on the button"take the test"to start the test. Candidates answer the questions by choosing the correct option and pressing the button."save answer"If you want to correct your answer, go back to that question and choose again.
Step 4:Predict the results
After finishing the question-answering part, candidates answer a sub-question to predict the number of people who answered all the questions correctly in that week's exam in the section "In your opinion, how many people answered all the questions correctly in this week's exam?".
Step 5:End of test
After completing the above 4 steps, candidates click on the “end test” button to complete the test. The test results and the candidate’s predictions will be transferred to the Organizing Committee’s database.
