Two female Taekwondo athletes from Nghe An won Gold Medals at the 2020 National Youth Championship
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2020 National Youth Taekwondo Championship has just opened at Lanh Binh Thang Gymnasium (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City) with nearly 1,200 athletes competing. Nghe An delegation had 3 athletes competing and all won medals, including 2 female martial artists winning Gold Medals.

The 2020 National Youth Taekwondo Championship kicked off on July 23, organized by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation in Ho Chi Minh City. Nearly 1,200 athletes from 45 units competed for 112 sets of medals in individual and team forms and combat, in the U12, U14, U17, and U20 age groups.
At this tournament, Taekwondo Nghe An has 12 athletes and 2 coaches participating.

On the opening day, athlete Nguyen Van Dai entered the 87 kg individual final against an athlete from Da Nang. He competed excellently, but the male boxer from Nghe An accepted the Silver Medal.
On the competition day of July 24, athlete Nguyen Thi Kim Anh met athlete from An Giang and Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai met athlete from Tay Ninh in the finals of the 73 kg and 49 kg categories. Both female athletes from Nghe An competed excellently and won Gold Medals.

Thus, after only 2 days of competition with 3 athletes competing, Nghe An Taekwondo has won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal. The 2020 National Youth Taekwondo Championship will end on July 29.
65 martial artists participate in the national Taekwondo promotion exam in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 16, in Vinh city, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An, the Martial Arts Federation of Nghe An province coordinated with the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation to organize the 2020 National Taekwondo promotion exam in Nghe An region.
