On July 24, the Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) escorted two suspects who had been on the run for nearly 20 years in the southern provinces to Nghe An to hand over to relevant units. These suspects were arrested by the Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Police in coordination with local police while they were on the run.

Previously, after many days of persistent verification and simultaneous use of professional measures, on July 20, 2020, the Wanted and Search Team of the Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) coordinated with Dam Rong District Police - Lam Dong, Ninh Hoa Town Police - Khanh Hoa to arrest Truong Van Thu (born in 1976, hometown: Nghia Phuc commune, Tan Ky) wanted for 19 years and Nguyen Trung Kien (born in 1971, hometown: Dien Yen, Dien Chau) wanted for 17 years, both for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury".
After committing the crime, Kien fled to Dam Rong district (Lam Dong) and Thu fled to Ninh Hoa town (Khanh Hoa). Both changed their names.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has handed over the two subjects to the police of units and localities for handling in accordance with the law./.
