Nghe An organizes examination to select inspectors for the 2020 High School Graduation Exam

On the afternoon of July 30, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on inspection and examination of the 2020 high school graduation exam.
Here, representatives of the Department of Education and Training approved important points about inspection work at the 2020 High School Graduation Exam. In particular, focusing on contents such as inspection methods; work that needs to be carried out before and during the exam sessions.

Inspectors are also reminded to thoroughly manage mobile phones at examination sites because this is a common mistake that candidates and invigilators make during exams.
In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the items that candidates bring into the examination room, closely monitor the organization for candidates before entering the examination room, and promptly identify and detect cases of substitute exams with modern documents and equipment to receive and transmit signals in the examination room.
Officers are also trained on situations that may occur at examination sites and how to handle them, especially incidents such as abnormalities in exam questions, candidates and supervisors violating examination regulations...
In particular, at this conference, 150 officers, including inspectors from the Department, police forces and officers assigned to do inspection work at examination sites, took a 30-question test with contents related to the inspection and examination of examination work.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Chief Inspector of the Department of Education and Training said: The new point this year is that the officers in charge of inspection and supervision are trained, then have to take a test, and if they pass the requirements, they will be assigned to official duties.
On the side of Nghe An province, from the general set of questions of the Ministry of Education and Training consisting of 180 questions, the Department selected 30 questions directly related to the exam to test teachers. The test is extremely important to select qualified inspectors with enough capacity to do inspection work. At the same time, it enhances the responsibility of those doing inspection work in properly implementing the regulations of the exam.
Previously, according to the guidance document of the Ministry of Education and Training, in the 2020 high school graduation exam, university lecturers will not participate in invigilation and grading as in 2019. Instead, lecturers and government inspectors will join the Ministry of Education and Training's exam inspection team.
Provinces and cities will also mobilize additional provincial inspectors to participate in inspection work during the exam.
In the 2020 high school graduation exam, Nghe An province has 31,200 candidates taking the exam at 61 exam locations with 1,406 exam rooms. Nghe An plans to mobilize nearly 5,000 people to work on the exam, of which more than 3,200 will be exam invigilators.
Before the 2020 High School Graduation Exam, the 2020 Exam Steering Committee also established 6 delegations to inspect exam preparation work in 21 districts and cities. The inspection will be completed before August 2, 2020.
