On July 29-30, 2020, the Working Group of the Health Sector and the Border Guard of Nghe An province inspected the Covid-19 epidemic prevention work at border posts; visited and presented gifts to military and civilian medical stations and medical stations in the areas where the stations are located.
Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province led the working delegation. Also joining the delegation were Lieutenant Colonel Ho Huu Thang - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard; Dr. Tang Xuan Hai, Director of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

On the afternoon of July 29 and July 30, the working delegation visited, presented gifts and inspected the medical examination and treatment work, and Covid-19 epidemic prevention at the Military and Civilian Medical Stations of Ban Bung and Co Phat under Mon Son Border Guard Station; Mon Son Commune Medical Station - Con Cuong District; Huoi Son and Pha Lom Military and Civilian Medical Stations under Tam Hop Border Guard Station; Tam Hop Commune Medical Station - Tuong Duong District and epidemic prevention checkpoints on the border.

The Director of the Department of Health stated: Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular have entered phase 3 of the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic with more difficulties than the previous phase. At this stage, the health sector in particular and all levels, sectors and localities in general must always be proactive in monitoring isolation, medical declaration, proactively detecting suspected sources in localities and medical facilities; must raise the determination to detect F0 as soon as possible, not allowing it to spread widely. |

At the same time, border guards and medical staff are required to continue to do a good job of communicating to raise awareness of Covid-19 prevention for people; inspect and control the area, prevent the risk of disease from illegal immigrants; be ready to do a good job of disease prevention and health care for officers, soldiers and people. |

The delegation also visited and presented gifts to military and civilian medical stations and health stations. The gifts included steam fans, medical equipment, specialized protective gear for epidemic prevention and a number of medicines for medical examination and treatment. The total value of the gifts was nearly 100 million VND, purchased from the Welfare Fund of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
