Long-time addict carries 900 synthetic drug pills to sell for profit

On July 30, Thai Hoa Town Police, Nghe An Province, announced that the unit had just successfully broken up a case, arresting Vu Cong Khuong (born in 1992), residing in Dong Tam Hamlet, Nghia Hoan Commune, Tan Ky District, for illegal possession of drugs.

Previously, at the end of June 2020, through professional work, Thai Hoa Town Police discovered a subject who regularly illegally bought and sold drugs to addicts in the town. To avoid detection by the police, the subject constantly changed his location of operation and only sold drugs to regular customers. If he detected danger, Khuong tried every way to disperse the evidence and quickly left the area. This illegal drug trading activity caused outrage and anxiety among the masses.

Using synchronous professional measures, the detectives identified the subject as Vu Cong Khuong (born in 1992), residing in Dong Tam hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune, Tan Ky district. Khuong has been addicted to drugs for many years and often buys drugs for use, and also divides them into small pieces to sell for profit. On July 20, the town police solved the case and arrested Khuong at Son Lam hotel, Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town. At the scene, the police seized 906 synthetic drug pills, 2.09 grams of crystal meth and 1 machete.

At the police station, Vu Cong Khuong confessed: Through investigation, he found that many drug addicts in Thai Hoa town had a need to use drugs. Khuong often went to the mountainous district of Tuong Duong alone, got "goods" from an unknown person, then transferred them to Quynh Luu and Dien Chau districts, then brought them to Thai Hoa town to divide into small pieces to sell for profit, and kept the rest for his own use.

The Investigation Police Agency of Thai Hoa Town Police has decided to prosecute the case and prosecute Vu Cong Khuong for illegal possession of drugs and expand the investigation.
