(Baonghean.vn) - The letter highlights the duties and missions of propaganda officers, expressing the expectations sent to the leaders and the collective of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. Those are the lines and words drawn from the heart of teacher Tran Van Thin in Minh Tan village, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district, former officer of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee.

Below is an excerpt from a letter from teacher Tran Van Thin, Minh Tan village, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district - former officer of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee from 1969 to 1982, sent to the leaders and the entire Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the industry's traditional day:

"In May 1969, I first came to the "Ban" (Propaganda Department) to work until August 1982, when I decided to transfer to work at Thanh Chuong District High School. Although I have been away from the Ban for 40 years, the time working at the Ban has left me with useful lessons and many good meanings in life. Every year, on the occasion of the traditional day of the industry, I often remind myself: Who are the Heads and Deputy Heads of the Ban? Who are in Nghe An, Ha Tinh? Who are in the lowlands and highlands? Who has transferred jobs? Who has passed away, who is still alive?...

12 years of living and working in the Department have many common and individual memories in work and daily life, but the most profound are the field trips to direct the grassroots where each team and each cadre has their own point of responsibility, a research topic...

We always ask ourselves, what have we done at the grassroots level? Are there any results or are there any shortcomings? Are there any lessons to be learned? It is from these grassroots trips, from the Party's resolutions to current events... that the propaganda officers have the opportunity to communicate with everyone; and also through these trips, witnessing how the grassroots implements the resolutions to evaluate how far the resolutions have come into life!

Also through the grassroots trips, the new cadres get closer to and understand the people better, especially the people's thoughts, ideas, and suggestions to the Party and the State. From there, the cadres of the Board are raised in ideology, quality, and improve their capacity, life experience, skills, etc. To have the grassroots trips, we had to prepare beforehand, from documents, outlines to bicycles. After each trip, the agency meets to discuss and draw experiences, so everyone feels more mature.

Letter from teacher Tran Van Thin to the leaders of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the industry's traditional day.

It is difficult to describe all the difficulties of the late 20th century, especially at Thanh Qua High School, Thanh Chuong, where I was transferred to work, difficulties piled on difficulties... But as a party member, a propaganda officer... I cannot allow myself to falter in the face of any difficulty.

With the Party's guidelines, I used my experience as a former propaganda officer to convey to parents, and they believed and supported the idea of not letting their children drop out of school with the determination to maintain class sizes and not let the school fall into the danger of dissolution. With the leadership of the Party Committees at all levels and the wise management of the Education sector, our school overcame difficulties and gradually grew in all aspects.

Now, I have retired but I am still elected by the organization to be the Chairman of the Association of the Elderly, the Association of Former Teachers of Vo Liet Commune, Thanh Chuong District; to participate in meetings of the People's Council, People's Committee, Party Committee... I myself always participate in speaking, proposing ideas with a constructive spirit for the common cause of the People, the Country, the Party... But what makes me happiest is when I directly or indirectly hear some people talk about me, saying: "That guy used to be in the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department! That teacher was appointed by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department"...
