30 new Covid-19 cases, 27 related to Da Nang, Vietnam has 747 patients
The 6 p.m. news on August 6 of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control reported that 30 new cases had been recorded, of which 27 were related to Da Nang, and 3 were quarantined upon entry. Vietnam currently has 747 patients.
Of the 30 new cases, 20 are from Da Nang, 6 from Quang Nam, 1 from Bac Giang related to Da Nang and 3 are imported cases from Ba Ria - Vung Tau. Specifically:
CASE 718, female, 67 years old, hometown: Da Nang, died on the evening of August 5, tested positive for Sars-CoV-2 late morning of August 6.
CASES 724-729, 731-743 (BN718; BN724-729 and BN731-743):In Da Nang, aged 1-69, including: 9 F1, 5 patients, 3 caregivers, 1 medical staff, 1 in Thanh Khe district, Da Nang (under investigation).
CASES 719-723 AND 730 (BN719 -723 and BN730): Tin Quang Nam, aged 30-51, related to Da Nang, including 2 patients, 3 F1 (Patient 562, Patient 456, Patient 592), 1 caregiver at Da Nang Hospital. Currently, the patients are isolated and treated at Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

CASE 744 (BN744):In Bac Giang, female, 7 years old, F1 of patient 673, patient 674, in the same group traveling in Da Nang with patient 675-678 in Lang Son. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.
PATIENT 745-747 (BN745-747):In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, related to the Texiana gas ship from Qatar to Vung Tau Port on July 28, quarantined, samples taken on board immediately after entry. The second test results detected 3 more cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 (previously there were 6 positive cases). Currently, the patient is quarantined and treated at the Long Dien District Medical Center, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Total cases: 747 cases
- As of 6:00 p.m. on August 6: Vietnam has a total of 747 Covid-19 cases, of which 312 imported cases were quarantined immediately.
- Number of new cases in the community from July 25 to present: 295 cases recorded.
- From 6am to 6pm on August 6: 30 new cases recorded.
