Busted 3 drug cases in 1 day, seized many 'hot' weapons

(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City Police have continuously fought and successfully destroyed 3 cases in just 1 day, seizing a large amount of drugs and many types of "hot" weapons.

Specifically: At 3:00 p.m. on August 10, at Phan Dinh Phung Street in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team presided over, coordinated with Cua Nam Ward Police to ambush, control and successfully arrest Luu Trinh Trung (born in 1988), residing in Block 1, Cua Nam Ward, for illegal drug trafficking.

Seized evidence included 35.015 grams of crystal meth; 100 synthetic drug pills; 3.215 grams of ketamine and 2 mobile phones.

At the same time, another task force from the Investigation Committee quickly raided Trung's house and conducted a search; thereby discovering and seizing an additional firearm, two knives and two sets of tools used for synthetic drug use.

At around 8:30 p.m. the same day, in the Ngu Hai street area of ​​Trung My block, Le Mao ward, Vinh city, the team continued to successfully break another drug case when they ambushed and arrested the "big shot" Vu Thanh Long (born in 1988), residing in hamlet 5, Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district:

Long is a person who specializes in supplying “goods” to “drug users” in the city. At the scene, the police seized the following evidence: 50 grams of crystal meth, 100 synthetic drug pills, 5 grams of ketamine and 1 mobile phone.

Previously, at 9:45 a.m. the same day, the Drug Investigation Police Team of Vinh City Police caught Le Tuan Anh (born in 1991), residing in block 10, Quang Trung ward, Vinh city (residing in block 9, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city) red-handed for illegal drug trafficking when he had just left his residence to go to the transaction location; seized evidence of 15 grams of crystal meth and a mobile phone. During an urgent search of Tuan Anh's residence, the police discovered and seized an additional firearm.

At the police station, all three suspects initially admitted their crimes. The case is currently under further investigation and expansion.
