On the afternoon of August 13, Vietnam recorded 22 new cases of Covid-19
As of 6:00 p.m. on August 13, Vietnam had a total of 905 Covid-19 cases, of which 20 patients had died.
The Ministry of Health reported 22 new cases of Covid-19, including 14 cases recorded in Da Nang, 02 cases recorded in Quang Nam, 01 case recorded in Quang Tri and 05 cases in Khanh Hoa, who were quarantined immediately after entering the country.

As of 6:00 p.m. on August 13, Vietnam had a total of 905 Covid-19 cases, of which the number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to now is 438.
Total number of close contacts and people entering from epidemic areas being monitored for health (quarantined): 133,340, of which:
- Concentrated isolation at hospital: 5,361
- Centralized quarantine at other facilities: 25,043
- Isolation at home, place of residence: 102,936
According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee, National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, on August 13, 12 patients were announced to be cured:
+ 10 patients at Hoa Vang Field Hospital (Da Nang City): Patient 466, Patient 469, Patient 495, Patient 555, Patient 581, Patient 638, Patient 665, Patient 682, Patient 685, Patient 730
+ 2 patients at Quang Nam Central General Hospital: Patient 716, Patient 719
- Number of cases testing negative for SARS-CoV-2 for the first time: 35 cases.
- Number of cases testing negative for SARS-CoV-2 twice or more: 51 cases.
- Number of deaths: 20 cases.
- Number of cured cases: 421 cases./.
