Nghe An: Highlights of August 13th

*SAugust 13th,Under the chairmanship of Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized the Conference.Give opinions on the draft documents prepared for the 19th Provincial Party Congress., term 2020 - 2025.

Besides evaluating the results and lessons learned from the past term, many opinions were contributed to the tasks and solutions for the next term, including developing key economic zones, developing the western region to match its potential, and promoting socio-economic growth in Nghe An province in the coming years.

The overarching goal is to build a clean and strong Party organization and political system – this is one of the top priorities; followed by the aspiration to strive for progress; and to bring about rapid and sustainable development for Nghe An. The delegates unanimously agreed on the motto of the Congress: "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development".

*CAlso on the morning of August 13th,At the Provincial Party Committee Executive Meeting, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy presented the decision of the Party Central Committee appointing ComradeColonel Vo Trong Hai, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police, has joined the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.term 2015 - 2020.

*VThe recorded video showsThe dump truck driver crashed into a Mercedes, causing a chain-reaction accident, and then fled the scene.Authorities are currently searching for the dump truck driver.

The accident occurred at noon on August 12th on National Highway 1A, in the Mai Hung ward of Hoang Mai town (Nghe An province). At that time, a Mercedes car with license plate 37A - 693.12 (driver unknown) was traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Vinh - Hanoi. While crossing the road, it was suddenly rear-ended by a dump truck. The powerful impact pushed the Mercedes car across the road, crashing head-on into a Kia car with license plate 37A - 460.23 traveling in the opposite direction. Immediately after the chain collision, the dump truck driver sped away from the scene.
