Que Phong District Party Committee opens preparatory session for the 22nd Congress of Delegates, term 2020 - 2025
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 17, the Que Phong District Party Committee opened the preparatory session of the 22nd District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. Attending the congress were 236 official delegates representing 5,254 party members from 41 grassroots party organizations in the entire Party Committee.
Attending the Congress were comrades: Ho Dang Tai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Ton Manh - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee's Office; Nguyen Xuan Duc - Acting Director of the Department of Planning and Investment.

At the preparatory session, the Congress voted to approve the list of the Presidium consisting of 7 comrades; the Secretariat consisting of 2 comrades; and the Delegate Qualification Examination Committee consisting of 5 comrades.
The Congress voted to approve the Program, Working Regulations, and Internal Rules of the Congress; thoroughly grasping the basic contents of the Party's Election Regulations.

The Congress also listened to a report summarizing opinions and discussing comments on the draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress, the Political Report of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; and listened to a report on the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 22nd District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Regarding the draft Political Report of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, the comments aim to clarify the contents on the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020.
Regarding the direction, viewpoint, and development goals until 2020, some delegates recommended: In the agricultural economy, there should be specific solutions to develop agriculture, rural mountainous areas, and highland areas; hope that the province will pay attention to developing eco-tourism and community tourism; build models of forestry development in mountainous districts with strengths in forestry trees, precious medicinal herbs, etc.

Delegates also suggested that the province, based on development principles, should select and re-evaluate key socio-economic areas to find effective solutions; review infrastructure, especially seaports, to proactively connect; pay attention to developing manufacturing and processing industries based on modern new technologies. Comments also clarified the key tasks and development breakthroughs of Nghe An province in the 2020-2025 term.

The 22nd Congress of Que Phong District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term will take place over 1.5 days (August 17 and 18). The Congress will elect the 22nd Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; elect a delegation to attend the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; and approve the Congress Resolution setting out the directions, goals, and targets for the new term.
