Make friends with women who left their husbands via Zalo and Facebook to scam money
According to the investigation results, after the divorce, Hieu went to Hanoi to work as a construction site supervisor, often using social networks such as Zalo and Facebook to make friends with divorced women, related to the division of property.
On August 20, the Criminal Police Department of Phu Ly City Police (Ha Nam) announced that the unit had just arrested a subject for fraud and property appropriation of nearly 60 million VND.
The subject is Nguyen Van Hieu (born 1988), residing in Liem Son, Thanh Liem district (Ha Nam).
According to the investigation results, after the divorce, Hieu went to Hanoi to work as a construction site supervisor, often using social networks such as Zalo and Facebook to make friends with divorced women, related to the division of property.

Recently, on the way from Hanoi to Liem Son (Thanh Liem district), Hieu met Ms. Ly and learned that Ms. Ly was going through divorce procedures.
Taking advantage of Ms. Ly's gullibility, Hieu introduced himself as an acquaintance of many famous lawyers in Hanoi, promising to help Ms. Ly get 70% of her assets after the divorce.
Ms. Ly trusted him so she transferred money to Hieu 4 times, totaling 59 million VND, to take care of things. After getting Ms. Ly's money, Hieu deleted Zalo and changed his phone number. After many times of not being able to contact Hieu, knowing that she had been scammed, Ms. Ly went to the police to report.
By professional measures, the Criminal Police Team, Phu Ly City Police arrested the subject to investigate according to the provisions of law.
