Announcing the Decision to establish Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center was established on the basis of merging the Sports Training and Coaching Center with the Sports Competition and Service Center.
On the afternoon of August 21, in Vinh city, the Ceremony to Announce the Decision of Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center and to present the Decision to appoint the Center's leaders took place.
Attending the event were Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, leaders of the Department; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and units.

Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center was established under Decision No. 474/QD-UBND dated February 21, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee; on the basis of merging the Sports Training and Coaching Center with the Sports Competition and Service Center.
Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center has the function of selecting, training, and coaching athletes for the province's high-performance sports teams; training to compete in high-performance sports tournaments domestically, regionally and internationally; organizing provincial, national, regional and international sports tournaments according to the plan of the Department of Culture and Sports and competent authorities; organizing physical education and sports service activities according to the provisions of law...

At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision to establish the Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center; the leader of the Department of Culture and Sports announced the Decision to appoint comrade Nguyen Hoang Trung - Director of the Sports Training and Competition Center to hold the position of Director of the Sports Training and Competition Center; two comrades: Le Minh Dieu and Nguyen Van Hue to hold the position of Deputy Directors of the Center.
Presenting the Decision and speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports hoped that comrade Nguyen Hoang Trung and the comrades in the Center's Board of Directors would always be united, demonstrate the spirit of collaboration, and soon stabilize the apparatus to operate more and more effectively.
