Appointing comrade Tran Sy Thanh as Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office
Comrade Tran Sy Thanh, 49 years old, from Thanh Chuong (Nghe An), was transferred from the position of Chairman of PVN.
On the morning of August 24, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Comrade Tran Sy Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN), to hold the position of Member of the National Assembly Party Delegation; at the same time, presented the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee to receive and appoint Mr. Thanh as Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office.

Comrade Tran Sy Thanh has held many important positions, has been rotated as a leader of three provinces: Dak Lak, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.
Through different positions, environments, and working areas, comrade Tran Sy Thanh always demonstrated steadfast political will, enthusiasm, and the will to rise up, ready to accept all tasks assigned by the Party and State in difficult and complicated areas to cultivate, train, and overcome challenges.
