On the afternoon of August 22, Da Nang recorded 5 new cases of Covid-19, Vietnam has 1,014 patients
The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that five new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Da Nang. Vietnam currently has 1,014 patients.
Number of cases in Vietnam:
- As of 6:00 p.m. on August 22: Vietnam has a total of 672 Covid-19 cases due to domestic infections, of which the number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to now: 527 cases recorded.
- From 6am to 6pm on August 22: 5 new cases were recorded, including 0 imported cases.

CASE 1010 (BN1010): Male patient, 52 years old, residing in Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang, had close contact with BN958.
CASE 1011 (BN1011): Female patient, 38 years old, residing in Thac Gian ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang, is a trader at Tan Lap market (Thac Gian ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang).
CASE 1012 (BN1012): Female patient, 69 years old, residing in Vinh Trung ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang, is a trader at the Supermarket (Chinh Gian ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang).
CASE 1013 (BN1013): Female patient, 51 years old, residing in Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang, is a trader at the Supermarket market (Chinh Gian ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang).
CASE 1014 (BN1014): Male patient, 60 years old, residing in Xuan Ha ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang, is a member of the Management Board of Lau Den Market (Xuan Ha ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang).
Currently, all 5 patients are being isolated and treated at Hoa Vang Field Hospital.
