(Baonghean.vn) - Orphaned by both parents, raised and educated by his brothers and sisters, Hoang Viet Hau in Yen Thanh always strives to overcome his circumstances and achieve high scores in the recent National High School Graduation Exam.

Hearing that Hoang Viet Hau (born 2002) achievedhigh score, relatives and many people of Lang Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) came to congratulate her and express their admiration. Along with the joy, Hau and her brothers and sisters could not help but worry because the road ahead was still full of difficulties and hardships.

In this year's National High School Graduation Exam, Hoang Viet Hau, a 12th grader at Bac Yen Thanh High School (Yen Thanh), scored 28.4 points in block A1 (Math 9.8; Physics 9 and English 9.6). With this result, Hau ranked 4th in block A1 in the province, the pride of his family, school and hometown Yen Thanh.

And what is more worth mentioning is that compared to his friends, Hoang Viet Hau was at a great disadvantage when he died early.orphanedboth parents. Mother had a serious illness and died when he was in grade 1; father died more than 3 years ago, when he started grade 9. Since then, Hau has been supported and educated by his brothers and sisters in the family.

Since childhood, his family's circumstances were difficult, and he had many siblings, but Hau was always given the opportunity to study, and with his natural intelligence, he always achieved high results in his school years. Even when his father passed away, living with his siblings, despite many difficulties, he still studied hard, nurturing his dream of going to university.

Along with the love of his brothers and sisters in the family, Hoang Viet Hau also received a lot of attention from the Board of Directors, teachers of Bac Yen Thanh High School. As a student with difficult circumstances, he was exempted from tuition fees, other contributions were also waived or reduced by the school, creating conditions for him to study with peace of mind.

Among the subjects, Hau likes Math the most. He can sit all day, even all day, to solve each calculation. In high school, he decided to focus more on Math, Physics and English to take the A1 exam. In his final year of high school, Hau tried harder and was more determined to study and review to reach his dream of university.

Time to speed up review and prepare forNational High School Graduation Exam, Hoang Viet Hau has made full use of his time for his studies. Not only focusing on reviewing at school, he also studies online, especially during the period of social distancing to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic. It can be said that studying online has become familiar to him, a daily need to consolidate and improve his knowledge, and prepare well for the exam.

With diligence and determination, Hau confidently entered the exam and achieved results beyond expectations. Asked about the secret to achieving high scores, Hau shared: “The most important thing is to allocate time reasonably for subjects, ensuring that there is no bias in knowledge between subjects. For each subject, I divided the content into small parts to make it easier to grasp, then systematized it.”

At the same time, be diligent and make the most of your time to do your homework; find exam questions to do them fluently and smoothly, and set a time limit. After finishing, compare them with the answers to detect mistakes and take note so as not to repeat them next time.

Hoang Viet Hau added: “I plan to enroll in Foreign Trade University, it has been my dream since I was a child. Although my circumstances are difficult, my seniors have a stable life, which will create conditions for me to reach my dream.”
