Donate 30 tons of rice to Lao people affected by Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized a reception of gifts to support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic from Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation. Attending the event were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

On this occasion, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation donated 30 tons of rice through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to support people in Lao provinces sharing a border with Nghe An province to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
It is known that up to now, the Corporation has supported 55 tons of rice and 300 million VND in cash with a total value of over 1.2 billion VND for people affected by the epidemic.

Receiving the support, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh thanked and praised the spirit of joining hands and accompanying the province of Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. Regarding the received gifts, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will deliver them to the people of Laos as soon as possible.

Since the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee issued a call for all people to participate in supporting the prevention and fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received 282 tons of rice and goods and items worth over 75 billion VND to support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic./.
