Nghe An will organize a series of events 'Vietnam Forestry - 75 years of formation and development'

(Baonghean.vn) - Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: Nghe An is very honored to be selected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to organize the above series of events with 5 program contents, scheduled to take place at the end of November 2020.

On the afternoon of September 1, under the chairmanship of comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to listen and give opinions on the coordination implementation plan between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Nghe An province to organize a series of events "Vietnam Forestry - 75 years of formation and development".

It is expected that Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung will preside over the ceremony; representatives of provincial People's Committees, representatives of Wood and Forestry Associations; and representatives of Chambers of Commerce of several countries in Vietnam, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, Russia, the United Kingdom, etc. will also attend.

The series of events will take place in November 2020, with 5 contents: Vietnam Forestry Anniversary Ceremony - 75 years of formation and development in Vinh City; Ceremony to report achievements and offer incense to Uncle Ho at Kim Lien Special National Relic Site; Ceremony to attach the plaque to the project "High-tech forestry zoneNorth Central region”; Conference to discuss solutions to promote the development of production, processing and export of forest products, period 2021 - 2025 and promote investment in the High-tech Forestry Zone; Exhibition to display and connect achievements of the Forestry industry.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Nghe An province said: Determining this as a major conference of the year, it is necessary to have a specific plan to promote, attract and call for strategic investors in the forestry sector, especially in production and processing.high-tech forestryin Nghe An province.
