Nghe An: Wall collapses, killing one elementary school student.
(Baonghean.vn) - This unfortunate incident occurred this morning at Nam Loc Primary School (Nam Dan district). The victim was a 5th-grade student.
Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper, Mr. Le Trung Son, Head of the Education and Training Department of Nam Dan District, said: At around 9 am this morning (September 11), during recess, a 5th-grade student from Nam Loc Primary School went outside to play in front of the school gate. Suddenly, the fence separating the house from the school gate collapsed onto the child. Immediately afterward, the student was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but passed away.death.

Following this incident, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dan District sent officials to the scene and worked directly with the Principal of Nam Loc Primary School to assess the situation.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan, Chief of the Office of the Department of Education and Training, said: Immediately after receiving the information, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Dao Cong Loi and the Head of the Primary Education Department went directly to the school and the family to help handle the incident.
It is known that normally the school gate is always closed during school hours, including recess, but this morning the school opened the gate during recess to bring potted plants into the schoolyard. As a result, students went out to play outside the school gate area, leading to the unfortunate incident.
