Ms. Nguyen Thi Th. (70 years old, Nhu Thanh district - Thanh Hoa) has had symptoms of epigastric pain for the past 6 months, constant dull pain accompanied by nausea, vomiting, black stools, fatigue, poor appetite, weight loss. The patient was taken to Cua Dong General Hospital by her family for examination.

Through examination, the doctor noted that the patient was thin, with pale pink mucosa. The esophagogastric endoscopy showed a large ulcer in the antrum. A biopsy of the ulcer showed stomach cancer, and a CT scan did not detect distant metastasis. The patient was scheduled for surgery to resect the stomach and remove the lymph nodes.
