Opening Ceremony of the Traditional Sports Festival of the Transport Industry 2020
(Baonghean.vn) - This year's Transport Industry Sports Festival with 7 competitions has the participation of more than 500 excellent athletes, selected from 22 agencies and units in Nghe An province.
On the morning of September 17 at the Vietnam - Korea Sports Center (Vinh City), more than 500 athletes from 22 units of the industryNghe An Transportand central units, enterprises operating in the same field located in the province participated in the 2020 Transport Industry Sports Festival.

The sports festival is one of the activities to celebrate the country's important holidays and anniversaries and the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, and towards welcoming the 13th National Party Congress.

The sports festival takes place with the aim of improving health, exchanging and learning, understanding each other, strengthening solidarity, cooperation and cohesion between agencies, units and enterprises, contributing to the completion of the tasks set by the transport sector in the province.
Athletes compete in 7 sports: Soccer, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, men's cushion ball (3 players), table tennis, tug of war, badminton.
Competition time is from September 16, 2020 to September 19, 2020 at the competition grounds of Vietnam - Korea Vocational College. The 3-a-side men's padel competition will be held at the volleyball court of the Department of Transport.

The teams with the highest achievements will compete for First, Second, Third places and a number of other prizes. The sports festival will conclude, close and award prizes at 4:00 p.m. on September 19, 2020 at the Vietnam - Korea Sports Center.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, a football match took place between the Department of Transport and the VHT Construction and Management Joint Stock Company. Volleyball, volleyball, and tug of war also took place on the morning of September 17.
