Recently, in the talk show about Miss Vietnam 2020 with 2 guests, Miss Vietnam 1992 Ha Kieu Anh and Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh, they shared interesting stories about the crown before and after leaving the current position. |
It has been 28 years since her coronation, but Miss Ha Kieu Anh still remembers the emotions when she received the crown. “At that time, I was in psychological shock, crying so much that all my eyelashes fell out,” Ha Kieu Anh recalled. And she also surprised everyone when she revealed that the reason she entered the beauty pageant was to make money.
Ha Kieu Anh said: “At that time, a model performing in a show only earned 120,000 VND, at most 180,000 VND, but when a beauty queen appeared, she earned from 800,000 to 1.2 million VND. The beauty queen got to wear gorgeous outfits, appeared in the vedette position and also received a salary many times higher than normal people. I also wanted to be like that, so I signed up for the beauty pageant.”

And with the question, "How does it feel to hand over the crown?", Ha Kieu Anh said she was not sad at all, but instead was moved and happy for the well-deserved result.
Ha Kieu Anh shared that before leaving her current position, she was worried that she would no longer be favored. However, after her term, she realized that she was shining more and more and received many bigger advertising contracts.
