Vinh City honors 20 outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs

(Baonghean.vn) - Towards Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), this morning, October 3, Vinh City People's Committee organized a meeting, discussion and honored typical businesses and entrepreneurs of the city in 2020.

Comrade Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee attended the discussion. Also attending were representatives of provincial and city departments, agencies, business associations and about 300 enterprises operating in the city.

Opening the Seminar, on behalf of the leadershipVinh city,Comrade Tran Quang Lam - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee delivered a speech welcoming and congratulating businesses on Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13).

He said: In recent times, in order to facilitate production and business development, the province and city have created favorable conditions and developed policies and mechanisms for businesses and entrepreneurs to do business; the city has also continuously invested in infrastructure and improved management institutions. Thanks to that, 6,970 businesses have been established and operating in the city.

However, in addition to the above advantages, Vinh City People's Committee also recognizes that the business environment and urban infrastructure still have some limitations and shortcomings. Vinh City has been making efforts to support and create favorable conditions for businesses, hoping that businesses will accompany and suggest some solutions to support and promote production and business in the coming time.

At the seminar, representatives of the city and provincial business associations highly appreciated the significance and receptiveness of Vinh city in organizing the monthly "Business Coffee" forum to create a forum for the business community to openly discuss and resolve difficulties and problems in the most timely manner; and limit the situation of authoritarianism and harassment by a number of civil servants.

BesidesRepresentatives of business associations also pointed out some difficulties and weaknesses in urban infrastructure, entertainment services, and administrative procedures, thereby requesting the city to continue to pay attention to find better solutions in the future.
