(Baonghean.vn) - A fishing vessel of Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) while exploiting aquatic products at sea encountered an accident that prevented the vessel from moving, while the sea was very rough, threatening the safety of the vessel and the lives of the fishermen.
Previously, at 02:00 on October 8, the vehiclefisheries exploitationShip number NA 93248 TS with 6 crew members, captained by Mr. Vu Van Phong, permanent resident of Tho Dong hamlet, Quynh Tho commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province, during fishing at coordinates 18036'N - 106033'E (about 37 nautical miles East Northeast of Mui Sot/Ha Tinh) had a broken propeller and could not move.
The captain anchored the vehicle in place and requested rescue assistance.

Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Ben Thuy Coastal Information Station, Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region I, Region I CommandCoast Guardand coordinated forces to notify vehicles operating at sea near the area of the fishing boat in distress to assist in the rescue.
