(Baonghean.vn) - At the families' homes, leaders of Quynh Luu district encouraged fishermen to overcome the immediate difficulties and shared the losses when all four fishing boats were burned, causing huge damage.
On the afternoon of October 10, comrade Hoang Van Bo - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee visited and encouraged the families of fishermen in Son Hai and Quynh Tho communes.fishing boat on fireat sea. Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Van Bo district and the delegation visited the families of the crew members: Tran Van Ngoc, owner of fishing boat NA 93031; Dau Van Tinh, owner of fishing boat NA 95095; Ho Van Tam, owner of fishing boat NA 95003, all residing in Son Hai commune; and Pham Van Tuan, owner of fishing boat NA 95432, in Quynh Tho commune. These are the 4 fishing boats that caught fire on the night of October 9 while anchored atLach Quen fishing port, Quynh Thuan commune.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee informed the families that when the fire broke out, the district leaders and functional forces were present in time to direct the fire fighting work; Nghe An Fire Police mobilized maximum means and people to participate in extinguishing the fire.
However, because the ships were carrying 7,000 - 8,000 liters of flammable oil and fishing gear, the fire spread to many ships. When the fire was extinguished, all four ships were completely burned, with estimated damage of 7 - 8 billion VND.

To share the difficulties with the families, Quynh Luu district supported each owner of the burned fishing boat with 5.4 million VND./.
