Forum 'Nghe An Youth: Strong Will - Unwavering Faith in the Party'
(Baonghean.vn) - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son stated that young people in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland, along with youth nationwide, need to take the lead in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, and clearly define their mindset and understand their role and responsibility in the province's new development phase.
On the evening of October 8th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized the forum "Nghe An Youth: Strong Will - Unwavering Faith". This is one of the activities for generations of Youth Union members and young people to express their thoughts, feelings, and wishes to the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

FAITH IN THE PARTY IS THE MOTIVATION FOR TRAINING AND STRIVING.
Opening the forum, Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union - emphasized that the forum is an opportunity for young people to express their feelings under the guidance and direction of the Party; to enhance their role and responsibility in the face of the country's new opportunities. At the same time, it contributes to strengthening the people's confidence in successfully implementing political tasks in accordance with the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels.

At the forum, youth union members had the opportunity to interact with former youth union members, volunteer youth, and exemplary youth union members. Mr. Mac Van Nguyen - Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Department of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee - affirmed that at any time, the Youth Union organization has always been trusted by the Party and considered a powerful arm, creating conditions for young people and the activities of the Youth Union. At the same time, the younger generation always trusts in the leadership of the Party and the government at all levels.
Sharing his personal story, from being a Youth Union official to having held various other positions, Mr. Mac Van Nguyen affirmed that Party committees and governments at all levels always organize, educate, and promote the great role and capabilities of young people in various movements.

“Through this forum, I sincerely hope that all young people and youth union members will always trust in the leadership of the Party, live responsibly towards the Fatherland, their families, and themselves, and have dreams and aspirations. Regardless of the field, they must strive to study, work, participate in socio-economic development, protect the Fatherland, volunteer for community life, and take the lead in difficult and challenging areas to contribute and grow,” Mr. Nguyen said.
Agreeing with the above viewpoint, Lieutenant Vuong Trung Uy - General Team Leader of Youth Volunteer Team 9, recalled that in 1998, while serving as the Secretary of the Youth Union of the commune, he voluntarily submitted an application to work at Youth Volunteer Team 8 (Huoi Tu commune, Ky Son district).
Despite undertaking extremely difficult tasks in the high mountains, Mr. Uy recognized that the establishment of the Youth Volunteer Brigades had made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of western Nghe An province. The lives of the people here have constantly changed; many households have abandoned the mindset of waiting and relying on others, striving to work hard and escape poverty.

Meanwhile, Ms. Trinh Thi Hien, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hung Loi commune (Hung Nguyen district), believes that young people in each period of history have shouldered different responsibilities. Ms. Hien hopes that the upcoming Provincial Party Congress will discuss many solutions to awaken the will, courage, and unleash the youthful energy of the youth in her homeland.
Speaking about the responsibilities of young people towards their homeland of Nghe An today, Nguyen Thi Thao, a student at Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, expressed her joy at being able to study in a favorable environment, where she is given the best conditions to express and develop her abilities and strengths.
"As students and future leaders of the country, I promise to strive to study and train hard, and if given the opportunity, we will certainly utilize our full potential to build a prosperous Nghe An province," Thao said.

At the forum, many youth union members expressed their wishes and expectations for the 19th Provincial Party Congress. Young people hoped that the new Provincial Party Committee would implement more policies and solutions to support young people in creative entrepreneurship; support ethnic minorities in economic development; and strengthen administrative reforms...
THE YOUNG GENERATION NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF ITS MINDSET AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Speaking at the forum, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - emphasized that the Youth Union and young people have made significant contributions to the province's overall achievements during the past term.
Appreciating the opinions of the youth union members, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the younger generation needs to clearly define their mindset, understand their role and responsibilities in the province's new development phase, always maintain clear ideology, uphold political integrity, and have absolute faith in the comprehensive and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In particular, young people in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland need to take the lead, along with young people nationwide, in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. This is not only a responsibility but also a sacred sentiment of every child of Nghe An towards President Ho Chi Minh, and a self-driven need in the process of self-improvement.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son suggested that, in the coming period, based on the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union should soon develop an action program to implement the Resolution; select tasks that the Youth Union can do and that young people can participate in effectively… contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution.Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
