National U13 Finals 2020: PVF eliminated, SLNA and HAGL excellently advanced to the Quarterfinals
(Baonghean.vn) - In the final round of the group stage on the afternoon of October 9, defending champion U13 SLNA once again advanced on the journey to defend the throne when defeating U13 PVF. Meanwhile, U13 HAGL also won the right to enter the Quarterfinals when defeating Dong Thap.
After 2 matches,U13 SLNAWith 4 points, the defending champion met U13 PVF in a rather comfortable mood. Not only having home field advantage, the young players from Nghe An also showed superiority in both skill and physical strength.

After a series of missed opportunities, PVF goalkeeper Van An finally had to pick the ball out of the net in the 20th minute. From the left wing, his teammates' effort to climb the sideline and pass the ball into the box helped Nguyen Anh Dung (7) comfortably rush in to finish close to the goal to open the score.
Despite being behind, PVF players still could not create many significant opportunities towards SLNA's goal. Not only that, they also conceded a second goal in the 27th minute. This time, Tran Quoc Hoa (10) continued to prove that he is the number 1 scorer of the Nghe An team when he passed the PVF defender and goalkeeper to raise the score to 2-0.

During the 30 minutes of the second half,SLNAstarted to switch to a defensive, counter-attacking game, some key players were given a break but PVF still could not find an equalizer. In the end, SLNA won with a score of 2-0 against PVF.
In the remaining match, HAGL also won 2-0 against Dong Thap to join SLNA as the 2 representatives entering the Quarterfinals. In Group B, Than Quang Ninh also beat QNK Quang Nam 2-1, SHB Da Nang defeated Dak Lak 5-1 to win the right to continue.

After October 10, the final matches of Groups C and D will determine the remaining 4 representatives to enter the Quarterfinals. The Quarterfinals of the 2020 National Youth Championship will take place on October 12, the Semifinals on October 14 and the Finals and Closing Ceremony on October 15.
