(Baonghean.vn) - The provincial administrative reform inspection team requested the Department of Tourism to continue to strengthen the role of the Party Cell in administrative reform work, supplement and issue a specialized Resolution on administrative reform work in the 2020-2025 term; and develop an annual administrative reform plan.

On the afternoon of October 15, the inspection team inspected the work.administrative reform(CCHC) of the Department of Home Affairs led by Mr. Tran Quoc Chung - Deputy Director had a working session with the Department of Tourism.

Report ofNghe An Department of Tourismsaid that administrative reform is a key task, regularly focused on by the Department to lead and direct; creating a fundamental change in the relationship between administrative agencies and citizens.

The Department promptly disseminates and thoroughly implements policies related to administrative reform to its civil servants and public employees, plans and conducts inspections of the implementation of administrative procedures (APs) to promptly correct and overcome them.

Thereby, the staff and civil servants of the department and specialized units have made more efforts in performing their assigned tasks, have a greater sense of responsibility for their work, and often have to work overtime to ensure the completion of the assigned workload. The work of advising on the announcement and publicization of administrative procedures is regular and timely, ensuring continuity in state management of tourism.

The Department has drastically reduced the processing time of 9 administrative procedures under the Department's jurisdiction (from 2 days to 10 days/procedure). 100% of received records are processed on the province's electronic one-stop system; no errors occurred during the processing.

The quality of administrative procedure settlement has been significantly improved; administrative procedures are made public and transparent. The one-stop mechanism operates effectively, reducing waiting time and costs in the transaction process between organizations, individuals, businesses and state agencies.

At the same time, the Department has increased the application of information technology in the process of directing, managing and operating: 100% of documents are issued through VNPT-ioffce software and use digital signatures to issue documents; most officers and civil servants use official mailboxes in the process of exchanging work. The Department has implemented the conversion and early application of the quality management system according to TCVN ISO 9001:2015.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Tran Quoc Chung highly appreciated the comprehensive direction of the Department of Tourism, a newly established unit but one of the leading units in implementing administrative reform in the province.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Department of Tourism continue to strengthen the role of the Party Cell in administrative reform, supplement and issue a specialized Resolution on administrative reform in the 2020-2025 term; develop an annual administrative reform plan; continue to review and propose simplification and reduction of administrative procedures; promote the application of information technology in management and task implementation, etc.
