- On the afternoon of October 12, a working delegation of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province and Military Region 4 set out for rescue.
- In the early morning of October 13, the area where the rescue team stopped to rest at Sub-region 67, Song Bo Ranger Station, suffered a landslide, causing 13 people to lose contact.
- On the morning of October 14, the first flight of Division 372 entered the Rao Trang 3 area.
- On the afternoon of October 14, 19 people were rescued and one body was brought out.
- At 7:20 p.m. on October 15, rescue forces found 13 bodies of officers and soldiers in Sub-region 67.
