Chi Khe Hydropower Plant (Nghe An) releases flood
(Baonghean.vn) - From 7:00 p.m. on October 16, Chi Khe Hydropower Plant, Con Cuong District (Nghe An) discharged flood water with a flow rate of 500 - 800 m3/s.
To ensure the regulation of the Factory's reservoirHydroelectricChi Khe is safe according to the operating procedures of the inter-reservoir in the Ca River basin during the rainy days due to the influence of this tropical depression. On the afternoon of October 16, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control issued Notice No. 175/TB-PCTT on the operation and regulation of water at the Chi Khe Hydropower Plant reservoir in Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district.
Accordingly, Chi Khe Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans toflood dischargewith flow 500 to 800 m3/s (including through the spillway and through the generators) and may increase depending on the water flow into the lake. The discharge time starts from 19:00 on October 16 until the end of the influence of the tropical depression.
