Nghe An will deploy hemodialysis at 2 district hospitals

The head of Nghe An's health sector said that this week, the sector will open a hemodialysis facility at Nam Dan District Medical Center and plans to deploy a second facility at Nghi Loc District General Hospital in November 2020.

According to the Director of the Department of Health, for a long time, patientshemodialysishave to go to Vinh city or to the central line, so implementing it at the district level will help reduce overload at the provincial level, and at the same time create more convenience for patients during the treatment process.
“In 2021, the industry will try to deploy a few more locations in the province to reduce the rate of patients having to return to Vinh City,” said the Director of the Department of Health, adding that after 2 years of implementation, Nghe An General Hospital will also be granted a kidney transplant certificate by the Ministry of Health.

Regarding hemodialysis at district hospitals, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated that the implementation will create convenience and reduce costs for patients; at the same time, reduce pressure on the provincial level.
