At this meeting, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that after the success of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, all levels and sectors need to continue to take urgent action on the contents being implemented in 2020, striving to achieve the highest results in the assigned goals and targets this year and for the 2016-2020 period; at the same time, it is necessary to proactively implement the contents of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

*Taccording to the calculation of the authorities,budget revenueNghe An province's estimated revenue in the first 10 months of 2020 was 13,077.71 billion VND, reaching 85.9% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council for the whole year of 15,216 billion VND. The realized revenue increased by 3.2% over the same period in 2019. Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at 12,162.21 billion VND, reaching 90.7% of the estimate and increasing by 7.2% over the same period. Excluding land use fees and lottery revenue, domestic revenue is estimated at 8,693.15 billion VND, reaching 79.8% of the estimate and equal to 98.4% of the same period.

*SOctober 23, local authorities and unitsfuneralfor Sergeant Nguyen Anh Duy (20 years old), a soldier of the Logistics - Technical Department of the 337th Economic - Defense Group in Hung Tay Commune, Hung Nguyen District. Martyr Nguyen Anh Duy is one of the two youngest martyrs among 22 people who died while performing a rescue mission in Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province.
During the day, two martyrs from Yen Thanh, Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Toan and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Thu, who died in Quang Tri, were also held at Tang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district and the Yen Thanh district Martyrs Cemetery.
