(Baonghean.vn) - Meeting U15 PVF in the Semi-finals of the 2020 National U15 Football Tournament, U15 SLNA played well in the first minutes, taking the lead and then equalizing 3-3, but in the unlucky penalty shootout, Coach Nguyen Van Vinh's students were not successful.

Entering the second half, the defending champion U15 SLNA was forced to push up their formation to find an equalizer. That also gave their opponents more space to coordinate. By the 58th minute, the score was 3-1 in favor of U15 PVF. The scorer was captain Thai Ba Dat after a pass from Nguyen Anh Tuan.
Trailing by 2 goals, U15 SLNA did not give up and continued to attack. After the efforts of the yellow team, the score was shortened to 2-3 in the 72nd minute. Long Vu (16) headed the ball against the crossbar before captain Nguyen Quang Vinh (6) scored for the home team.

Less than 5 minutes later, captain Nguyen Quang Vinh once again shot from outside the box, the ball bounced and forced goalkeeper Minh Kha to go into the net to pick it up. The score was balanced 3-3. This was also the result after 90 minutes of official play. The two teams had to go into a penalty shootout to determine the winner.
In the penalty shootout, U15 PVF were the more courageous ones, successfully executing all 5 kicks. Meanwhile, Le Nguyen Hoang of U15 SNA missed the second kick. This meant that the ticket to the final belonged to U15 PVF. Losing in the semi-finals,U15 SLNAreceived a bronze medal and could not create the miracle of 3 consecutive championship years.
