Singer Le Quyen officially confirms her divorce.
On her personal page, singer Le Quyen confirmed that she and her husband, businessman Duc Huy, had mutually agreed to divorce in mid-September 2020.

Le Quyen shared the reason she decided to speak out about her marriage breakdown: "I'm someone who never wants to talk about private matters, but because Le Duc Huy shared it with the press, I'm also sharing it now: 'We have divorced.'"
"In the divorce document, the law clearly states that we mutually agreed to the divorce, voluntarily, without violating any moral or legal principles. Therefore, we always consider each other friends and family, acting in a civilized and understanding manner because neither of us hurt the other until the divorce," Le Quyen further shared.
She said that she would only talk about the divorce once, and now she hopes everyone will find happiness in their new journey.

Before news broke of Le Quyen's marriage breakdown, images of her appearing with model Lam Bao Chau received much attention, and this was considered partly confirming her marital problems.
Le Quyen and businessman Duc Huy got married in early 2011. Le Quyen's husband is the nephew of musician Le Quang and owns a well-known tea house in Ho Chi Minh City. Since their marriage, Le Quyen's husband has also managed her career, working behind the scenes to ensure she can focus on singing.
Le Quyen was born in 1981, the youngest of four siblings in a family with a tradition in the arts; both her parents were traditional Vietnamese opera (cheo) singers. In 2009, she moved to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue a career in classic Vietnamese music.
