According to the schedule ofMissVietnam 2020, the sub-competitions are about to take place in Vung Tau. The Fashion Beauty round is scheduled to be held on the evening of November 10. Besides 35 contestants, the beauties participating in the show include Ky Duyen, Do My Linh, Tieu Vy, Luong Thuy Linh, Huong Giang, Phuong Nga, Thuy An, and Nhu Van.

A netizen named Ai Lien expressed: "We are the audience, we have the right to love and hate, like and dislike, and have the right to give opinions. I hope the organizers will remove Huong Giang's name from the list."
Currently, most of the posts on the Miss Vietnam 2020 page have been "attacked", even though they contain information unrelated to Huong Giang.
In the face of a wave of backlash from the online community, on the evening of November 1, the program's general director Hoang Nhat Nam spoke up. He expressed his wish for a show full of good and bright things. He said that when choosing guests, the organizers had considered carefully.
Therefore, although many people oppose Huong Giang, the Miss Vietnam Organizing Committee will still keep her name on the guest list to perform in the Fashion Beauty round.
