Midfielder Tran Phi Son will not return to SLNA, but will join HL Ha Tinh instead.
(Baonghean.vn) – After his contract with Ho Chi Minh City FC ended, midfielder Tran Phi Son decided to return to his hometown team and play for Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC starting from V.League 2021.
Tran Phi Son is a player originally from Ha Tinh province, born in 1992, and a product of the Song Lam Nghe An youth academy. After leaving Vinh Stadium, Phi Son joined Ho Chi Minh City FC in the 2018 season. He signed a three-year contract with the team based at Thong Nhat Stadium.
During his three years playing for the Southern team,Phi SonHe faced considerable difficulties in integrating into the team, partly due to recurring injuries. Therefore, when the V.League 2020 season ended, his contract with Ho Chi Minh City FC also expired.

Speaking to a reporter from Nghe An Newspaper, Phi Son confirmed that he has accepted an offer to play for his hometown team, Hong Linh Ha Tinh. He will play for this team under a three-year contract.
Previously, after Phi Son decided to leave Ho Chi Minh City FC, public opinion suggested he would return to SLNA to reunite with Phan Van Duc and other players from Nghe An province. However, HL Ha Tinh FC was the club that successfully negotiated with the former national team player under coach Toshiya Miura.
