Arrested case of transporting 2,000 pink pills to Nghe An coastal area for consumption
(Baonghean.vn) - The Criminal - Economic - Drug Investigation Police Team of Dien Chau District Police (Nghe An) has arrested a case of transporting 2,000 pink pills at the Vietnam - Laos border and bringing them to Dien Chau for consumption.
Through reconnaissance work, Dien Chau police discovered adrug traffickingfrom Que Phong district to Dien Chau and some coastal districts of Nghe An for consumption. Dien Chau police have established project 919M, arranged forces to investigate and ambush.
Accordingly, at 7:00 p.m. on November 8, on National Highway 48C, Block 1, Quy Hop Town, Dien Chau Police intercepted and checked Lo Van Thanh (born in 1991), residing in Cao village, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district.

During the search, Thanh was found to be carrying a small package suspected to be drugs. At the investigation agency, Thanh confessed to buying 2,000 pink pills weighing more than 200 grams at the Vietnam - Laos border and bringing them to Dien Chau for consumption.
The case is currently under further investigation and the subject is being handled according to the law.
