Provincial People's Council representatives meet with voters in Do Luong district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 19th, a delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including comrades: Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee - Provincial People's Council; and Truong Cong Thao - Secretary of the Party Committee of Do Luong Town, met with voters in Do Luong district.
During the meeting, 10 voters raised concerns regarding issues such as: the need for a clear resolution of land disputes in Bau Kinh; and some remaining shortcomings after the hamlet merger.
Voters also expressed concerns about the mechanisms for building new rural areas after the commune has met the standards; and the remaining issues regarding the organization of land auctions in the area…

Voters in Lac Son commune also raised concerns about wastewater discharge, leading to environmental pollution; the street lighting from the industrial zone to Lac Son market is not being illuminated, causing traffic safety issues and wasting resources.
Voters in Nhan Son commune pointed out that the Quang Nhan road, under construction since 2010, remains unfinished, affecting the transportation of the people. They also emphasized the need for rigorous environmental assessments for investment projects in the locality.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department – and Provincial People's Council delegate, stated: In the Bau Kinh area, the district has done everything within its capabilities, responsibilities, and authority. If the relevant households are still not satisfied, the matter should be brought to court for resolution according to the law.
Although the allowances for some commune and village officials are low, given the limited budget and the fact that many mountainous and remote areas face even greater difficulties, voters and village officials need to be understanding of the overall situation in the province.

For communes that have achieved the new rural development goals, requests for cement support should be planned and registered for the following years. For projects related to the environment, surveys will be conducted to gather opinions from the people and relevant communes, and rigorous assessments will be carried out to ensure the health and well-being of the people.
Regarding other issues, Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam has taken note of them and will submit recommendations to the competent authorities for satisfactory resolution. He also assigned responsibility toDo Luong districtand the relevant communes address the issues raised by voters within their jurisdiction.
