Voters in Nghi Loc and Quy Hop reflect on the inadequacies in the regime for grassroots cadres after the merger of hamlets and communes.
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meetings with voters of the 17th Nghe An Provincial People's Council delegates before the 17th Session, many voters of Nghi Loc and Quy Hop districts reflected and made recommendations regarding the shortcomings in implementing policies and regimes for grassroots cadres after merging communes and hamlets.

Provincial People's Council delegates including Mr. Nguyen Thi Nhung - Vice President of Nghe An Cooperative Union, Mr. Tran Xuan Quang, former Chairman of Nghi Loc District Fatherland Front Committee and district People's Council delegates had a meeting with voters of Quan Hanh Town.
At the meeting, voters of Quan Hanh town raised 24 opinions and recommendations. In which, voters' feedback focused on issues such as:policy for staffcommunes and hamlets after merger; grantingchange land use right certificateThere are many shortcomings, causing difficulties for the people. Voters are also concerned about ensuring food hygiene and safety, especially near the Lunar New Year. The problem of hunting wild birds still occurs in many places, affecting the natural environment.

Many voters also hope that superiors will invest in and upgrade the Tho Son and N2 canal systems, which have been degraded and are affecting production and people's lives.

After listening to the Provincial People's Council delegates inform about the province's socio-economic development results in 2020, development orientation in 2021, expected contentAgenda of the 17th session, 17th Provincial People's Council,Voters of Van Loi commune have reflected many issues and requested the authorities to resolve them.
That is the new rural implementation program encountered problems in supporting cement, causing difficulties for local officials and people when implementing road construction and traffic and irrigation works... After merging hamlets and villages, the number of households and area increased, but the allowance for part-time officials at the commune and hamlet levels is still too low. Currently, Van Loi is an agricultural commune, veterinary officials are very important, but the merger cut this position, livestock farmers are very worried about maintaining and protecting their livestock. Voters proposed to keep the position of commune-level veterinarian.

Voters in Van Loi commune also raised difficulties in carrying out procedures for former youth volunteers; the conversion of ineffective crops to orange trees, Van Loi people have done but there is no outlet for the products. Besides, recentlyoranges are diseasedserious but the cause has not been found, making people very worried....
The voters' recommendations and reflections were explained by the leaders of Nghi Loc and Quy Hop districts. Along with that, the provincial People's Council delegates also participated in clarifying the contents of voters' concerns. The delegates will summarize all major issues that exceed their authority to submit to the provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution in the next session.
