The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Council convened the 17th session
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 18, 2020, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council issued Notice No. 234/TB-HĐND.TT convening the 17th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016-2021.

Accordingly, at the 17th session,Provincial People's Council, term XVIIwill review and evaluate the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, ensuring national defense and security of the province in 2020, the plan for 2021; evaluate the implementation of the development plansocio-economics 52016-2020, 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025.
The Provincial People's Council will also review 33 reports on the results of work in 2020 and tasks in 2021 of the Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, etc.
The session is expected to pass 29 draft resolutions on socio-economic, national defense and security in the province; conduct questions and answers and decide on a number of important contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.
The 17th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021, is scheduled to be held for 2.5 days, from December 11 to 13, 2020 in Vinh city.
