Coach Park Hang-seo calls Pham Xuan Manh back to the Vietnam National Team

(Baonghean.vn) - In the list of players to be gathered for the Vietnam national team on December 6, 2020, coach Park Hang-seo called back his favorite students such as Pham Xuan Manh, Phan Van Duc and goalkeeper Nguyen Van Hoang of Song Lam Nghe An Club.

As part of the preparation plan for important matches in 2021 of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers as well as the AFF Cup, Coach Park Hang-seo has listed the Vietnam National Team for the training session next December.

Accordingly, the list gathered by head coach Park Hang-seo is 37 players, including 4 goalkeepers, 15 defenders, 10 midfielders and 8 strikers.

Notably, the Korean coach has called back old faces such as Nguyen Van Quyet and goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong. In particular, Pham Xuan Manh, after his strong return at V.League 2020, has also joined the national team along with Phan Van Duc and Nguyen Van Hoang.

Some Nghe An players have or have just joined other clubs such as Ho Tuan Tai (Ho Chi Minh City Club), Nguyen Trong Hoang, Que Ngoc Hai (Viettel) are all listed butmidfielder Ho Khac Ngoc, even goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh continues to be absent from this training session.

According to the plan, the Vietnam national team will gather from December 6 to December 28 in Hanoi. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, organizing international friendly matches for the team is impossible.

Therefore, the Vietnam Football Federation is planning to organize two matches between the national team and the U23 national team to both serve the professional work of the two teams and raise funds to support the people of the Central region.
