After receiving the information, using professional measures in coordination with security cameras at the ATM, Chuong My District Police investigated and clarified that the perpetrator was Bui Van Quyet, a colleague of the victim.
At the police station, the subject confessed that on November 10, when he arrived at the company's garage and saw that his colleague's motorbike was unattended, he stole items including an ATM card, citizen identification card and many documents of Ms. TL.
The subject went to an ATM in Phu Cat commune, Quoc Oai district and tried entering Ms. TL's date of birth, which matched the ATM password. After that, Quyet stole 9 million VND from the ATM card for personal expenses.
