Reuters reported that the recount, requested by President Donald Trump's campaign, in Milwaukee - Wisconsin's largest county - ended with Democratic candidate Joe Biden - who was declared the winner of the 2020 White House race - winning more votes.

After a recount in Milwaukee County, Mr. Biden won 132 more votes than President Trump, 257 to 125.

Overall, Mr. Biden won 306 electoral votes, far exceeding the 270 needed to win, compared to 232 votes for President Trump.

Mr. Biden also leads President Trump by more than 6 million popular votes.

After the operation ended, Milwaukee County official George Christenson stated: “The recount proves what we all know: Milwaukee elections are fair, transparent, accurate and secure.”

President Trump's campaign still plans to launch a legal challenge to the overall results in Wisconsin, but time is running out.

Wisconsin is scheduled to certify the results of its presidential election on December 1.
