Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Society Department chaired the inspection. Also attending the meeting were comrades Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and Thanh Chuong and Tan Ky districts.
Review of draft resolution on some reward policies for collectives and individuals achievingcultural titleThe issue that most concerned the meeting participants was determining the number of collective and individual titles to be awarded annually.
According to the draft resolution developed by the Department of Culture and Sports, the maximum number of awards is 5 families that have achieved the title of outstanding cultural family for 3 consecutive years/residential area/year.

However, according to the opinions of the meeting participants, if applied as drafted, it will not ensure fairness among residential areas in the province, because the size of households among residential areas is different, some residential areas have less than 100 households, some residential areas have more than 500 households.
From that concern, the meeting members proposed that the agency drafting the resolution should redefine the number of outstanding cultural family titles to be awarded in the year as a percentage of the total number of households recognized as outstanding cultural titles in the year in the residential area or of the total number of households in the residential area.

Similarly, for the title of typical cultural agencies, units and enterprises, it is also necessary to study and re-determine the number of awards in the year, because according to the draft, the maximum of 5 typical cultural agencies, units and enterprises/district/year is not suitable.
Concluding this content, Head of the Department of Culture and Society Nguyen Thi Thu Huong affirmed that the policy of issuing a reward policy for collectives and individuals achieving cultural titles aims to continue promoting the movement of National Unity to build a country.cultural life, promote the movement of building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas; at the same time encourage and recognize collectives and individuals in the movement.

Accordingly, in Thanh Chuong town, there will be 30 named streets; of which 28 streets are named after famous people and 2 streets are named after historical places and events.
In Tan Ky town, there will be 33 named streets; of which 25 are named after famous people; 8 are named after places and historical events.

After members gave their opinions, Head of the Culture - Society Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Huong requested the Department of Culture - Sports to review the proposed routes, clearly identify the starting point, ending point of each route and the administrative unit that the route passes through in a specific and accurate manner.
On the other hand, it is necessary to pay attention to ensuring the naming criteria, because in the draft there are still some routes with a total length of less than 500 m; at the same time, review the scale of each route planned to be named worthy of the achievements of each famous person.
