Displaying 68 rare woodblocks and 100 photos about Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The exhibition displays 68 rare woodblock images extracted from Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks and 100 photos by 33 photographers.
Part of the 990th anniversary celebration programTitle of Nghe An(1030 - 2020), on the afternoon of November 30, at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument (Vinh city), the Department of State Records and Archives (under the Ministry of Home Affairs) coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to organize the opening of the Exhibition "Historical milestones in the formation of Nghe An province in Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks - World documentary heritage" and the Photo Exhibition "Nghe An integration and development".

Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition, on the Central side, there were comrades: Vu Chien Thang - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Phan Trung Tuan - Director of the Department of Legislation, Ministry of Home Affairs; Dang Thanh Tung - Director of the Department of State Records and Archives.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Dinh Ly - Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports.
Also attending were leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; leaders of districts, cities and towns and a large number of people of Vinh city.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long affirmed: Over the course of history, the place name of Nghe An, although changed many times, has long been the sacred calling of every local resident.

In the development journey, the source of materialsNguyen Dynasty WoodblocksRecording the milestones of formation and development of Nghe An province as well as a series of images about the development and integration of Nghe An are recreated through 68 rare woodblock images extracted from the Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks and 100 photos by 33 photographers, which are valuable assets of the people of Nghe An in particular and the Vietnamese people in general.

Speaking at the Exhibition, Mr. Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the State Records and Archives Department, affirmed that Nghe An is a land that has left many strong impressions on cultural history, has a long tradition and a special position in the glorious cause of building and defending the country. Nghe An is also known as a land of mandarins, producing many heroes and founding fathers who have made the country glorious.
The Nguyen Dynasty Woodblocks introduced at the exhibition provide additional reliable and authentic historical documents, helping the public better understand the historical milestones of Nghe An land.
