2,261 people in contact with 4 Covid-19 cases in Ho Chi Minh City tested negative
On the morning of December 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control announced that 861 F1 and 1,400 F2 tested negative, while 384 community screening samples are awaiting results.
In recent days, the health sector has taken samples of 2,916 people who came into contact with four positive cases, including "patients 1342", 1347, 1348, 1349. Of these, 861 were F1, 1,400 were F2, and 655 were community screening samples, including teachers, students, and pupils.

As of this morning, 861 F1 cases, including 260 close F1 contacts and 601 distant F1 contacts, were all negative. All 1,400 F2 cases also tested negative. Thus, all F1 and F2 cases of the four patients tested negative.
With 655 community screening samples, 271 people have tested negative, while 384 people are waiting for results.
The city has gone three days without recording any new Covid-19 cases in the community.
Doctor Nguyen Tri Dung, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control, said that four domestically infected patients recorded in the four days from November 28 to December 1 are currently in stable health with no unusual symptoms.
Before testing positive, "Patient 1342" had some mild symptoms such as fatigue, stuffy nose, sore throat, phlegm, and loss of taste. The remaining three patients did not show any symptoms of Covid-19.
Today, the city still has 295 people quarantined at centralized locations, 566 people quarantined at home or place of residence.
