Improving the governance of educational institutions in the context of implementing 'dual' tasks

On the morning of December 10, the Department of Education and Training held an online training conference on the management of preschool education facilities.

At the conference, comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee - Director of the Department of Education and Training mentioned the role and tasks of the preschool sector in the context of educational innovation.

In which the main goal ofpreschool educationis to help children develop physically, emotionally, aesthetically to form the first elements of their personality. Thereby, helping children form and develop their psychological functions, abilities as well as qualities that are all solid foundations and early create for children the necessary life skills suitable for preschool age and create a solid foundation for children to confidently enter grade 1.

To effectively carry out the new tasks in the current period, the Director of the Department of Education and Training suggested that the school principal must be both a manager, an administrator, and a leader. Therefore, in the management process, there must be a purpose and a plan to operate the school effectively.

As for the teaching staff, they must also know how to plan, build a healthy educational environment, and organize activities to nurture, care for and educate children.

On this occasion, representatives of more than 500 kindergartens in 21 districts, cities and towns also had the opportunity to share the difficulties in implementing teaching and learning activities in schools. On that basis, the Department of Education and Training will synthesize opinions to build a development strategy for the education level in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, the Director of the Department of Education and Training also urged the Departments of Education and Training and school leaders to strictly implement regulations on organizing extracurricular educational activities.

At the same time, it is strictly forbidden to organize or entice others to participate in multi-level activities that raise capital in violation of the law.

In case of violations, the Department of Education and Training will resolutely and strictly handle the groups and individuals who intentionally violate the regulations.
