(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 11, at the 17th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council conducted procedures to remove 1 delegate from the duties of a Provincial People's Council delegate, dismiss the position of Provincial People's Committee member and elect additional positions of Provincial People's Committee members for the 2016-2021 term.

The Provincial People's Council voted to approve the draft Resolution on accepting the dismissal of Mr. Ho Dinh Trung - former Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, Provincial People's Council delegate for the 2016 - 2021 term.

Previously, Mr. Ho Dinh Trung was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief Justice of the High People's Court in Hanoi.

The Provincial People's Council conducted procedures to dismiss the positions of Provincial People's Committee members: Nguyen Van Do, Vi Van Suu, Luong Thanh Hai and Nguyen Hai Duong.

Mr. Nguyen Van Do - former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, member of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of planning and investment, has retired according to regulations.

Mr. Vi Van Suu - former Chief Inspector of the province, member of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the Inspection sector, was decided by the competent authority to cease holding the position of Chief Inspector of the province and wait for retirement.

Mr. Luong Thanh Hai - former Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee, member of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the Ethnic Sector, was decided by the competent authority to cease holding the position of Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee and wait for retirement.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong - former Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, member of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of Foreign Affairs, was appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Thanh Chuong District Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term according to Decision No. 3899-QQD/TU dated August 27, 2020 of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will conduct an election to supplement the position of Provincial People's Committee member for the 2016 - 2021 term for the following positions:Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duc, Chu The Huyen and Vi Van Son.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duc, born on August 2, 1982, hometown Hung Nguyen district; has professional qualifications of Bachelor of Economics, Construction Engineer, Master of Business Administration; currently a member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duc was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Planning and Investment according to Decision No. 4339/QD-UBND dated November 30, 2020 of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Chu The Huyen, born on August 24, 1976, hometown Dien Chau district, has professional qualifications of Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Administration, Master of Law; currently a member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, member of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, and Chief Inspector of the province.

Mr. Chu The Huyen, former Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dien Chau district, was appointed to the position of Chief Inspector of Nghe An province according to Decision No. 4368/QD - UBND dated December 3, 2020 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Mr. Vi Van Son, born on September 15, 1973, hometown Con Cuong district, has professional qualifications of Bachelor of Law, Master of Law, Doctor of Theory and History of State and Law; currently a member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province.

Mr. Vi Van Son, former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district, was appointed to the position of Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province according to Decision No. 4356/QD-UBND dated December 1, 2020 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
